Itinerary:
Day 1: Arrival in Entebbe Meet and greet at Entebbe International Airport. Transfer to your hotel. Relax and prepare for your safari adventure.
Day 2: Entebbe to Murchison Falls via Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary Drive to Murchison Falls with a stop at Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary for rhino tracking on foot. Continue to Murchison Falls National Park. Evening relaxation at your lodge.
Day 3: Murchison Falls National Park Early morning game drive on the northern bank searching for lions, elephants, giraffes, and buffaloes. Afternoon boat cruise to the base of the falls. Hike to the top of Murchison Falls for spectacular views.
Day 4: Murchison Falls National Park Full day game drive exploring different sectors of the park. Look for leopards, hyenas, and various antelope species. Return to lodge for sunset views over the Nile.
Day 5: Transfer to Kibale Forest National Park Long drive south to Kibale Forest (7-8 hours). Lunch en route. Arrive at your lodge in the afternoon. Evening walk in the crater lakes area.
Day 6: Chimpanzee Tracking & Transfer to Queen Elizabeth Morning chimpanzee tracking in Kibale Forest. After lunch, drive to Queen Elizabeth National Park. Evening game drive if time permits.
Day 7: Queen Elizabeth National Park to Bwindi Morning game drive in the Ishasha sector searching for tree-climbing lions. Continue to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest. Evening relaxation at your lodge.
Day 8: Gorilla Trekking in Bwindi Early morning gorilla trekking experience. Spend one magical hour with a gorilla family. Afternoon at leisure or optional community walk.
Day 9: Bwindi to Lake Bunyonyi Transfer to Lake Bunyonyi, Uganda’s most beautiful lake. Canoe ride, swimming, or relaxation. Overnight at lakeside lodge.
Day 10: Return to Entebbe Drive back to Entebbe (8-9 hours) or take a domestic flight. Departure or overnight in Entebbe depending on your flight schedule.
