Itinerary
Day 1: Arrival in Kigali and Transfer to Kisoro
Arrive at Kigali International Airport where you will be met by our representative. Enjoy a brief city tour of Kigali including cultural and historical highlights before setting off for Kisoro in southwestern Uganda. The drive takes you through scenic countryside and across the Cyanika border. Arrive in Kisoro for dinner and overnight at your lodge.
Day 2: Gorilla Trekking in Mgahinga National Park
After an early breakfast, drive to Mgahinga Gorilla National Park for a full morning of gorilla trekking. Venture into the dense forest with expert guides in search of one of the mountain gorilla families. Once found, spend an hour observing these incredible creatures in their natural habitat. Return to the lodge for lunch and an afternoon of relaxation surrounded by the tranquility of the mountains. Dinner and overnight in Kisoro.
Day 3: Return to Kigali and Departure
Enjoy breakfast at the lodge before beginning your drive back to Kigali. Arrive in time for your onward flight, marking the end of your memorable gorilla safari in Uganda.
