Itinerary:
Day 1 – Arrival and Kigali City Tour
Arrive at Kigali International Airport where our guide will welcome you and take you on a short city tour. Discover Kigali’s charming streets, local markets, and cultural landmarks before settling in for the night at your Kigali hotel.
Day 2 – Drive to Nyungwe via the King’s Palace and National Museum
After breakfast, begin your journey southward through Rwanda’s beautiful countryside. Stop at the King’s Palace Museum in Nyanza to learn about Rwanda’s royal history, then continue to Huye for lunch and a visit to the Ethnographic Museum. Proceed to Nyungwe and check into your lodge surrounded by the rainforest.
Day 3 – Chimpanzee and Colobus Monkey Trekking
Rise early for a guided chimpanzee trek through the lush rainforest, listening for their calls as you explore the dense forest trails. Return for lunch, then head out again to track the black and white Colobus monkeys, known for their striking coats and playful behavior. Evening at leisure and overnight in Nyungwe.
Day 4 – Canopy Walk and Forest Exploration
